These terms are an agreement between you and the Sahten team. By installing or using Sahten you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
Using the app means you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use AI features. If you are under 16, you may only use Sahten with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, you are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You can sign out or permanently delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.
Use Sahten only for personal, non-commercial recipe management. You agree not to: copy or scrape the app, reverse engineer or modify it, attempt to bypass usage limits or the app's anti-abuse checks, use it for unlawful purposes, or submit content that infringes anyone's rights.
Recipes, notes, and photos you add stay yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and back up this content to provide the app's features. On the free plan your recipes stay on your device; if you subscribe to Pro, you authorise us to store and sync your recipes and meal plans on our cloud servers so they are backed up and available across your devices. You confirm your content is lawful and that you have the right to share it.
AI Chef replies, recipes generated by AI, and recipes imported from URLs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsafe for your needs. Always verify ingredients, allergens, cook times, and instructions before cooking or eating. The app is not a substitute for medical, nutritional, or allergy advice — consult a qualified professional for any health condition or dietary restriction. Pro AI features are described as 'unlimited' but are provided on a fair-use basis: generous daily limits apply to prevent abuse and keep the service sustainable, and almost no one reaches them in normal use.
Sahten Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. EU and UK users: by starting your subscription you expressly request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once access begins.
The Sahten name, logo, app design, source code, and all branding belong to the Sahten team. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission.
We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, with or without notice, to fix bugs, improve performance, comply with law, or for any other reason. We are not liable for downtime.
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the app abusively. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will remain in effect.
The app is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Sahten team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or any recipe. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including, where applicable, liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer-protection right available to you in your country of residence.
We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes we will show an in-app notice before the new version takes effect, and update the effective date above. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
